I headed up to Koondrook on the Victorian, NSW boarder last week and caught up with MXD rider Kale Makeham. We shot this little preparation video in between Round 1 & 2 of the Australian Supercross Championships.

After a strong performance at Round 1 in Dubbo which scored Kale a 2nd overall finish, he know is aware of the things he needs to focus on to get him in the top position.
Makeham had the speed all weekend but wasn’t able to put down consistent laps through the main, which hindered his chances of getting pass Hayden Mellross who took the overall for the night.

Based in Koondrook, Victoria, Kale trained daily at his track located in his front yard having Pro Lites rider Errol Willis travel down to be his training partner.

Makeham lets you in on how he prepared for the ASX championship and his day to day plan leading into the Dubbo, NSW opening Round. He then makes use of his finely groomed Supercross practice track in his front yard and cuts some laps in the lead up for Round 2 @ Phillip Island October 27th & 28th.
